I appreciate all the support that I have been receiving for NinetyForChill.com - The Podcast that on its Facebook page, but we have to move it beyond just expressing it and showing some follow through. Pardon if I come off as rude, but you have given me some great ideas for future episodes. Their your ideas and I want you to help express them.

If you have Zoom, come on the show. If you want to do it person, I am fully vaccinated.

With that said, the idea of a Danny Elfman and Tim Burton themed episode has been expressed on the Internet. I will not mention who I worked the concept out with, but I know others who are tempted to volunteer for it. Email me at russthebus07@gmail.com to find out more.

Another friend mentioned covering the filmography of Brian De Palma. That is a trickier concept because after "Carrie" he only has three films that fit the NinetyForChill parameters (74 to 99 minutes). But, one of those features is the Nicolas Cage starring "Snake Eyes". With a podcast dedicated to the campy, it may be a bit of a surprise to some that we have not covered this Coppola's work. The Coen Brother's "Raising Arizona" qualifies.

As for this week, I was not able to get a guest lined up. One of my friends is up for a vampire-themed episode, but circumstances dictate that we will have to wait to record it. So the goal of this episode is to be brief, have fun, and see if I can get this onto YouTube. In other words, I am taking a little conversation with ThePoeticCritic and seeing if I can elaborate on it for just under 10 minutes. This is my best attempt at satire on my show, so let me know if it works.

My older sister was discussing how only Disney's inhouse features are requiring a thirty dollar fee to watch them as new releases on Disney+. It seems the Pixar crew is upset that their releases, like the Academy Award winning best animated feature "Soul", lack the pomp and circumstance. This lead to me joking about, "If you want equality, we need a communist streaming service."

As it turns, I had the right numbers and came up with a way to fund progressive legislation via a government takeover of the first, best known, and the service that inspired the slang which led to the name of this podcast. It just felt good knowing that I am demonstrating more smarts than Tucker Carlson.

Sometimes I even amaze myself. I can only hope that I can do the same to you. This seems to be the right time to ask for the subscriptions and those five-star reviews on Apple Podcasts.

I promise to have a regular show next week and thanks for hanging in there.

If you have any spare time, I would really appreciate it if you visited my memorial to Stacia Marie Hardin. She would have been 39 today. Stacia was the most giving and caring person that I have ever known and I would love to share her legacy with everyone I can.

And if you knew her, and had some more flattering pictures of her, I and I know her little brother Brian would appreciate them. She was beautiful, but she was not her profession at that time. Thanks.

FMK: The Cubs, Stephen, John Wayne

*Blog post was started on April 26, 2021.

Is it because I am a Cubs fan? I do not believe in a god, but you cannot help but wonder why the world always taunted the Northside ball club for at least 71 years. This statement just shows I am an optimist since I do not really think their fortunes were that bad from 1908 to 1945. They were in the world series at least once a decade during that stretch. How many ball clubs get to claim that?

Do not bring up that there were only eight-teams in each league until 1967. No one picks of the Blackhawks not hoisting the cup from 1961 to 2010. For the first eight years in that stretch, there were only six teams total.

It has kind of been a down/up kind of day. That may expand to the past weekend, but I do not know how much content I have to joke around with in the past four days. This may require a movie review to be attached for it to be ready to publish on the 29th. If that had not just pushed me down again, I got a podcast to produce tonight. To realize that I have to stay up and watch a flick, where is the fun?

The worst part is realizing that I need to publish a blog post to promote the next episode of the podcast. At least it is the art that is keeping away from driving on the wrong side of the road when I am playing "Watch Dogs: Legion". What is the advantage of the concept of left-hand side driving?

But in the meantime, I better not let this slip. We all know someone was either not too bright or too lazy when it came to the name of Stephen, but did those that they named also need to be assholes as well. And why are they mocking me?

Two weeks ago, a gentleman that I waited on in the near lane of the bank's drive thru clipped one of its pillars on his way out with the machinery that his truck was hauling. The damage is all cosmetic, but the building shook. I should not call him an asshole, but the other two Stephens are bad company.

My next customer was paying off a home equity loan and expected to and was trying to insist that he only owed the remaining balance. This gentleman did not understand that the loan is the same as a second mortgage and that the county had taken out a lien on the house. Thus we needed to pay the county to release him from the loan. Hence, he needed to pay an additional $61.

Why was I not made aware of this when I signed the loan?

Unfortunately, I cannot speak for the lending officer.

How would you react to this ridiculous charge?

Unfortunately, I have never been in a position to buy a home.

I fear for Champaign because this Stephen was a detective with the municipal police (He was wearing his badge like Ice T.). It may have been permissible if he worked for the campus pigs, but I digress.

And today, a Stephen who did not know how to officially cash his wife's check also failed to realize why there is a bar on our drive up drawer (It is there to hold items in place.). The wind led me to dashing out of the bank to search for the missus's payroll check.

That is a signed pay check.

I know sir.

It's your responsibility. It through off of your drawer.

You did not put it under the bar sir.

Fortunately for him, he found the check. I am just bitter because I advised him that the deposit slip for his first transaction had flown off as he was placing the check down. It is so tempting to let Twitter know that all of his bank account info is blowing about Champaign and how much was in the account. And all these thoughts came up before I found out...he was a Stephen.

Then there is/was the wrestler in Springfield who everyone knew as Hernandez but wrestled under the name Bradley Stephens. Thus the birth of Russ Staley and the end of the wrestler Russ Stevens. I have a conclusion that may excuse the rest of the Stephens of the world, but that is giving away too much information about the bank.

Today (April 27) presented me with less Stephens. There were still some. The first call I picked up that was not from our regular home-bound senior citizen was from a Stephen, but he kept it simple. With boomers, you cannot expect them all to be able to online bank.

Our only tricky customer had a more ridiculous name, Jon Wayne. The customer was younger than I. Why would anyone born after me have that name regardless of how it was spelled? Please tell me woke culture is going to cancel that.

My coworker who also dealt with this customer said they did not get where my rant was going. There was only one evil John Wayne. I told her that the point was, you do not hear about anyone with the middle name Harvey.

Does anyone know anybody with the middle name Wilkes? Do we prefer serial killers over political assassins?

I wanted to obtain a little more knowledge to support my argument, thus Google was turned to. This is where I rediscovered John Wayne was a stage name for the actor. He could have beaten Stallone to Marion, so there is another reason to be disappointed in that actor. Another discovery were the numerous article about the middle name Wayne being associated with violent criminals. Of course John is still the most common male name in this country, so you know a lot of these murderers are going to be John Waynes.

And it was not too much longer before I learned about Australia's Granny Killer, John Wayne Glover. Any other John Wayne that immediately comes up on Wikipedia, they are all involved in combat sports.

What is in name? I think a degree of violence or brilliance. If it is to be associated with violence, there is a lack of brilliance. If it is to be a misspelling, at least double down on it. I am looking at you Stephen Colbert.

Raising the Minimum Wage: Two Jobs Means Too Many Douche To Deal With

*Blog post was started at 4:55 pm CDT, April 20, 2021.

Despite the snowfall, hell has not frozen over. In other words, my date tonight had just got cancelled. I really need to get out of this two job, 13-day work week life style to allow my source more time to be rejected.

But the world is larger than I, so who am I to say that Hades has been hit with a frost? Derek Chauvin, an asshole who only wanted to abuse those he was employed and swore to serve, was convicted of murder. How I typed that statement, it seems I am stating that he had no intention of killing George Floyd. Let me clarify that with the cocksucker knew full well that his actions could kill his victim. It is the same reason why I do not support handgun ownership.

My apartment requires I have renters insurance. I am not in the bank's lending department (If my selling as a wrestler was questionable [I was just ahead of the curve Jim Cornette.], do you think I should try to convince someone to sign their life away to me?), but I believe home owner insurance is a requirement in getting a mortgage (I think that is involved with the concept of escrow.). You are paying to protect everything that you own. Is the handgun to protect those family heirlooms and photos that you will run back into a raging fire to take with you?

I proposed in a @catbusruss tweet the following:

There are more #guns in the #USA than citizens. The least we could do for #guncontrol is stop the manufacturing of these murder devices for #cowards.

It was also shared on my Facebook page where it got a reaction from a follower who said, "That would just make it tougher for good guys to get guns." I replied with that it is currently easy for everyone to obtain a gun and that is why gun violence is so high.

Recalling how many exchanges we had before I realize I that their Facebook argument was based on feelings instead of a fact (Mine was that there are more than enough guns in this country.). There was a response from them where they stated that it is safer to have a gun when you only have seconds and it will take the police minutes. This was obviously challenged by, "What if you assailant has a gun?"

The point is facts do not care about your feelings. Too bad if you express the facts, feeling are going to be hurt. This is leaving me in the position of how do I request my manager to tell the righteous vegan next to me to quit watching talking heads from Fox News at the job. Life was so much easier when my coworker was watching Twitch streams of Team Rocket Pokemon Card unboxings, "Rick and Morty" episodes, or "Marvel Strike Force" tutorials.

The conservative talking head discussing why the Chauvin verdict will not change a thing and how black culture is profiting from alleged police misconduct. This gentleman was black, so he must know what he is talking about and further justifies white peoples' opinion that there is nothing we can do to help those who will not help themselves. After the verdict was read, they were quick to express their opinions about how it may be right, but black Americans are victimizing themselves.

I know my selling of excessive physical pain was not a strength of mine in terms of being a performer, but when one is seething naturally, I would think it would be noticeable to a "libertarian". Do they not thrive of owning left libs?

Needless to say that I wanted to shout about why there is so much outrage about cops killing black people while there is a supposed lack of outcry about those who are killed by other blacks. I wanted to put them in their place by saying that white people in power do not provide the resources to stop these crime or enact laws to prevent guns from being used in these acts. It seems that blacks are upset that not only do they have to worry about the poverty they are forced to live in, the people who protect them are more than willing to murder them because this country does not care about them.

Because expressing an opinion about something you do not personally experience can be well meaning, but out of my realm, let me make it clear, the person I wanted to educate was white. I am sorry if any of my readers are offended that I have decided to take a stance that is not based on my own experience.

Of course, I would be seen as being the aggressor for trying to silence their ignorance and lack of compassion. Who is going to be considered the intolerant party? I have had the reviews at work, so I know it would be me. This makes me glad that I moved out to Champaign or Mom would have had Dad cut me off years ago for telling her to quit expressing her racism.

Now I am wondering. Do I give them the Hulk Hogan treatment? Phones have recorders. Are they worse than the Hulkster? At least with him, we watched for the coitus.

I guess this really just speaks to reading the room or appreciating that religion and politics are something that should not be taken seriously in a professional environment.  Unless it is the politics of the management bodies. The politics of the rich would give me a reason to no longer work for them. A coworker's lack of knowledge, does not seem worth the career change.

But again, how do I tell the manager that the opinion they are expressing is going to cause a lot of shit when I will be framed the shitstirrer.

FMK: Full Metal Yakuza, Boredom, and Mystical Catholic C-Word

*Blog post started on October 15, 2020.

This Takashi Miike film is a celebration of bad video effects from the 1990's Cinemax and direct-to-video. Too many pixelated images and penis talk for my taste but what you should expect from Miike.

I would say it is almost to the point that I wish we had our next stimulus packages just so we could have a little more traffic in the bank. Then I thought about how we should have received that next package or at least have the Senate working on that out of principle. Instead, the conservative cocksuckers are trying to grant a mystical catholic Karen to the Supreme Court because hopes of destroying the lives of those not like them is more important than saving lives in general. It is almost like Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham are just trying to rub our noses in it.

Am I really worried about what a law professor at a Catholic school who would have never gotten to hold a judicial position for the past (and only) three years if it was not for a crooked president? Not really.

As I wrote about in "FMK: Cats, Common People (Like You), and Cantonese Cartmen", I suspect being in flyover states is the reason that "fucking assholes" is the best way to describe them. These are the type of people who feel that tend not to deal with the disenfranchised whom they deem are nothing more than an inconvenience to them. But since some of those living in poverty are relatives in trailer parks, they are a little more tolerant of people with the same skin tone. Anyone who wants to change things based on compassion fails to understand the rigid nature of the Constitutions and are thus enemies of the State to them.

And because COVID-19 is something that a 74-year old obese man can survive, surely their morbid state of weight can withstand a battle with a disease that might as well not exist. With that kind of ignorance/stupidity, I cannot help but wonder how they can afford a marked up drink that warrants bars being open. The stimulus is obviously not their concern.

You have just witnessed how a joke can bomb from inception just like a Trump male. Now is that not a great save?

The blog post I wrote yesterday ("FMK: Cats, Common People..."), was started with only a couple hours of work to get through. As everything falls into place as the week goes on, an hour of tasks falls off, leaving me with three hours to fill. I could just throw up a YouTube video review at the top of this blog to fill up space (and because it fit better than the topic of the next paragraph when it came to titling this post), but I will probably have an hour left of twiddling my thumbs. With my retail gig needing someone just for the last hour of the night, it might be a good time to look through Facebook, but I have less than half a battery on a Samsung Galaxy S8.

This leads me to wonder what kind of itinerary needs to be comprised next week's three-day weekend to get a phone upgrade and a tattoo without making two trips to Peoria. One item will be approved by my parents (since they manage the phone plan), the other would not, so fitting both of them into one trip will be tricky. It would not be an end of the world scenario for them to find out I was getting more ink, but if I can avoid headaches, should I not?

Hence, why I have yet to work up the nerve to bring in my Switch to work. The fears of a crackdown over the staff use of downtime are prevalent. I hear from a manager, "I watched the tape," and I second guess my plans. Perhaps I am just too respectful of the left brain's opinion, the conservative part of the brain coincidentally. Is a job really worth having if you cannot play the best Pokemon game during downtime. Fuck "Pokemon Go!".

Am I becoming to Seinfeldian? This blog kind of seems to be about nothing. It started out about boredom and ends with me trying to justify that status. Now I am pondering if I just need to keep my hands away from the keyboard. Why would you want to continue writing after you told the Pikachu on your phone to go intercourse itself?

"Logan Lucky" and the Validity that the likes @realBenDavila, @proundgrandpa00 Wish They Had.

*Blog post started on October 8, 2020.

A part of me thinks I should just be taking the time before this shift ends to catch up on "The Ringer". Outside of myself, I do not know if I really have anything to draw people into a blog. There are plenty of 90 to 120-second YouTube videos I could share in this blog, but I would rather a blog be about writing. That is despite the feedback that people are liking the videos.

It all seems to be based around the video for my review of Ron Perlman versus Vinnie Jones (and other British actors that producer Perlman wanted to act against) film "The Big Ugly". I looked at the number of views, and it seems that I have heard directly from everyone who has watched it. This means that at least my friends can tolerate me. When I compare it to the clicks that the blog post has been getting, perhaps my face is a turn off and they are either just skipping to the text or turning away immediately after the visit.

If the latter is the case, it may mean that all of Twitter's cowardly, conservative cocksuckers are right when they just resort to calling me ugly. Of course, these assholes do not have the nerve to post any media of themselves. Perhaps the following are just bots with the most juvenile insults:

  • @Deleno12
  • @DvAnon2
  • @TRUMPMOMENTS411
  • @RyuDarth
  • @teenytinytrout
  • @cfufreedom
  • @thomasc07497394
  • @grudziar
  • @Maranatha4
  • @middletheroad

I have yet to check what they think of my latest thread via @catbusruss and @maineventzombie.

Every #President has had a #pet except for #Trump, or so I thought. Does someone want to inform #barontrump his dad doesn't consider him human?

Explains how @DonaldJTrumpJr and @EricTrump turned out the way they did.

And the general consensus from these twats, "It is a fake account."

It leaves me thinking back to the quote from Mr. Winston Wolf in "Pulp Fiction":

Just because you are a character does not mean you have character.

I guess that kind of defines my state of mind. After a vacation day on Tuesday and spending too much money at Big Al's, a gentleman's club I have been going to for 19 years, a revelation that I have to step away from my past finally settled in. It makes me think that I should shut down my Facebook account, but that is half of my promotion.

I do not think I am trying to hold on to the past like most of Morton High School's Classes of 1998 and 1999 who are still living in the town, but when you do not have many friends, you go to familiar places. It is not like I cannot keep this game up of fornicating with dancers (It seems I still can.), but I am not living there anymore. There maybe fun to be had, but I cannot stick around to develop friendships. Anyhow, Peoria is in my past because it had long given up on me anyhow.

Now I am in Champaign/Urbana, and I have yet to really establish any strong relationships to grow around. Another stop on my trip this week was to visit Stacia Hardin's grave, my best friend whose life thrust adulthood upon me. It is in the middle of nowhere, South Pekin. I guess I have a lay of the land from my time transporting high school drop out and delinquent wrestlers from all sides of the town to Next Generation Wrestling shows. Regardless, no one should really know Pekin layout that well.

Stacia was the first person to have ever believed in me since I was considered an adult. Addiction defeated her but she made it a point to not let it hurt me. I cannot say that about the other addicts in my life. They definitely did not put faith in me despite me offering it to them. The self destructive friends believed in me, but those tendencies got the better of them. It seems they have gotten back on their feet (FYR!), but being from that portion of their past, they will not allow me to be part of their present despite I know how not to fuck up.

This leads us to my latest ex who I chose to end the romance with. It does not matter if she believes/believed in me because she has to get on her own feet. The problem with the relationship was I was trying to do that for her.

When I moved down here, the dating scene was great to start, and I settled into a relationship about a month in. Now, yes there is the pandemic, but it has all been just flirting on apps. I suppose some people like the boundaries it gives them. For me, it seems like no one wants to take risks or they just get off on people admiring them. Do I want to only be a concept?

Now those YouTube videos make me feel less real.

I guess I am just looking for someone to take a chance on me and have a little faith that I can amount to something. My pro-wrestling zom-com script "Main Event of the Dead" is still in development hell (If you have any advice or want a treatment of the script, send an email to russthebus07@gmail.com), so blogging does not seem to work. Morons on Twitter think those who tell them they are assholes just claim the accuser is fake like the news. If only we could have a civil dialogue, at least we would need to be real. Outside my creative output, there does not seem to be a way for me to matter.

The only comfort is that the last two presidential cats had lived nearly 20 years. That mean I get eight more years of Eva...unless Socks survived because he got the best medical treatment at Walter Reed.

Fuck Medicaid. Socialized veterinary medicine is what we all need.

90-Min HBO Max - "The Second Civil War" HBO Fails to Find Middle Ground

*Blog post started on August 5, 2020.

Well, I have gotten through the initial lab work, handled my finances at least for a couple of weeks, and made sure that everyone can watch their appropriate media in Morton, for the most part. My older sister does not own any foreign stuff, but she sees potential in the region-free DVD player. Christmas for my folks will probably be a HDMI enabled region-free DVD player because I do not want my niece and nephew to ruin the DVD/VCR combo in their room. Tape decks are such a rare commodity.

Still, I am a bit on edge in general. The knowledge that I should not self medicate every night hinders my comfort. Trying to ensure that I am not abusing the general insurance my folks are providing me leads to a less vibrant refrigerator menu. There is also the need to show my new medical team that I am attempting to treat my body better, so I need to drop a few pounds before next Tuesday.

Damn the hour lunch schedule. How much can you do with a free hour after sustaining one's energy on Jolly Ranchers? You cannot spend it eating. With that time, you can get damn near anywhere in Champaign/Urbana and be back to work on time. I suppose it is the bank just encourage commerce (Or is it for easier scheduling construction since Illinois only requires a half hour lunch.).

I hope all of you respect my decision to be sucking the life out of Hershey's non-chocolate option. If I was not doing that, the bank could not offer Dum Dums to the customers. They are a little more hesitant to ask in these unprecedented times, but most are still using drive up banking.

Those traveling with children can risk their life or their sanity. Do you give them the damn suckers or deal with the whining all the way home? If you are not local, you will be fucked as you trek back to your sub-10K hometown.

My worries also include just being bored. I will not kick the cats out of my video game chair, so yes, I have an excuse to be bored. The ex's cat seems to be the feline equivalent to me, which means (She was hedging her bets about a break up two-years prior.) I am constantly reminded of my loneliness. Talking to myself is something I do enough of. Now it feels like I am doing it in stereo.

Who knows? Skimble might be inadvertently doubling my angst. This is what I will blame for extra nervousness/reluctance to please my parents. Perhaps that may have skewed my perception of a Mom movie suggestion, "The Second Civil War".

The Boondock Saints 2: Disney's "Song of the South Boston"

It is quicker for me to grab a disc from my more prominently displayed Blu-ray collection than it is from my standard definition collection. So, since owning a HD player (circa 2009, Thanks Fingerhut.), I have probably reached out for the sequel to the cult classic, "The Boondock Saints", more often than its predecessor. In these 10 years since I saw "All Saints Day" in theater, watching it makes me feel a little dirtier with each viewing.

It has been well established that director Troy Duffy's reputation is awful. His arrogance lead him getting blackballed by the Weinstein Brothers (no sexual assault allegations) for a decade. This basically lead him to write a script that is solely fan service for the original film's cult. "The Boondock Saints II" is a film about two "devout" white Christians murdering criminals as they make homophobic jokes through out the picture. Add in the love for the concept of John "Duke Fucking" Wayne, and it has aged well a day since its release. Sony could re-release the film and make bank from incels.

I say I feel dirty watching this film, but as a fan of the leads from the first film (outside their dismissal of Willem Dafoe's strong gay supporting character's principles), there are elements that I enjoy about the picture. Delete the pep talk that serves as an excuse to bring back David Della Rocko's, and you may not have that reprehensible a script. The two films could have definitely used a little more color in terms of casting.

It was a time before Scott Steiner math. In the early 00's, "The Boondock Saints" was the most quoted thing in the Downstate Illinois wrestling scene. We all watched it and we all loved Norman Reedus before he was Darryl because of it. I am thinking we need a remake, which may sound blasphemous. What I need to do is to try pressuring Bostonian Bill Simmons to make the franchise's first flick a "flawed" Rewatchable to determine what needs to be done with the property.

But let us go back 10 (perhaps 11 years if the following review was for the first run theatrical viewing) to see if I have become a bit more woke, or if I had a clue and chose not to give a crap. Hopefully I have never been a douche (outside of kayfabe), but we shall see.

The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day

"The Boondock Saints" was "The Heathers" of the 90's. With a ridiculous premise, likeable characters, and sharp dialogue, both films show that you can do a lot with limited direction and nil when it comes to substance. Fun flicks, but great flicks? Perhaps the more important question is, sequel-worthy flicks?

The son of Papa Joe Yakavetta is tired of living in fear of the Saints, so he orders the execution of a beloved South Boston priest. His hope is that by making it look like the MacMagnus clan, the Irish legends will come out of hiding to either be framed by them or have the Italians finally rise to the challenge that the vigilantes will bring.

Unable to resist being called out, Connor and Murphy decide to return to Boston from their retirement in Ireland. Their goal is to kill everyone who was involved in the assassination. It is a daunting task, but with help from their new Mexican compadre and Special Agent Smecker's apprentice, they are ready to take a wicked bite out of crime.

Everything that you enjoyed from Troy Duffy's first (and only other film) is delivered in the "The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day". Everything except a meaningful and well-paced narrative.

There is a lack of care to correct the first film's flaws. Instead, they seem to be celebrated which lead the audience to realize the hack that Duffy is behind the camera. This film is a glorified music video with constant replays of poorly shot action sequences in an effort to show us he at least shot every possible angle. The result is that the film starts to drag half way through act two.

The set ups to the prolonged fight scenes are worthwhile because it gives us great interactions between the characters featuring some golden dialogue. Not quite Tarantino or Smith, but it serves as the only reason to watch this film. When you look back at its predecessor, clever and harsh dialogue is why we loved it.

"The Boondock Saint II" is a fine example of a favorite action genre (the highly quotable), but the director's lack of vision may leave audience knowing that this franchise is not a genuine classic. As long as you are needing a fix for manliness and wicked dialogue, this feature can be recommended. If you are trying to avoid that kind of toxicity, watch "Kill Bill" (That statement was added in 2020 for this 2009/10 review. Sadly, not a lot of strong female lead uber-action movies between 1999 and 2009).

The Days of E&C, TLC and RNC: The Disgruntled Real Tag Team Champions - Part 4

The non-highlighted was written on February 6, 2020.

Well, I appreciate all the news coverage that allowed me to stay occupied the vast majority of my shift, but I definitely could have waited one more week. In other words, trying to develop an argument to convince my mom to abandon the Grand Old Party is what is on my mind. Not to say that witnesses would have changed the result, but one would have to at least appreciate the effort put into the cover up.

There has been enough news that some decent conversations have been held at the day job. Margot Robbie's amateur tattoo stories have come out filled the pop culture and its influence on college kids and impulsive soon to be 40 somethings (If she and Jeff Hardy can own machines, why not I?). The Christian Right (and white) Facebook opinions about the Super Bowl halftime allowed for a common ground with the more religious types in the office.

The Religious: You know how much I love Jesus, but whoa. And the stupid Bible verses to defend her stance.
Me: Did she go straight to Leviticus?
The Religious(s): Ha!

I suggested to both to just use the "unfollow" option on Facebook, but my manager said she needs that craziness every now and then, so she prefers to let them snooze for 30 days. That is where I went to bat for Twitter (@maineventzombie) and stated if I need that insanity, I will just go and troll Tomi Lahren (whom I should have immediately tagged in my "If you are Generation X or younger and support the GOP, you are a sellout." tweet). Turns out, that is when you can get the religious on your side

The Religious: She's such a hypocrite.
Me: Actually, no.

This was a place to say that the religious one was not necessarily conservative by explaining the separate approach to it. Lahren uses personal freedom to justify the stuff that she did not agree with. My goal was to show I understood the religious, but why she may want to avoid calling herself conservative. She even acknowledged that the success of religious conservatism would be replacing god.

Of course, she is a millenial. I do not know if telling my mom to shun the GOP cunts (broad use of the noun, not about the GOP's broads) so that you can start a new with a conservative party instead of depending on the power-hungry. If Dad was not so fluid in his political acceptance, he would be a good teammate in this argument. Life is all about good teammates, like:

The 54th Real Tag Team Champions: ECW's Impact Players (Justin Credible and Lance Storm) - 1/9/2000 to 2/26/2000

Credible and Storm were two guys that Paul Heyman wanted to keep looking strong until the right time came to elevate them to the main event. Essentially, this reign was to keep them in a holding pattern, so when it came to wrestlers not named Jerry Lynn, they were the top. And because of the attention they garnered, they would be in the main event picture anyhow...too the point that when the reign ended, the titles were diluted.
