Feeling Like Punk: CM Darth versus the Order of Saint Francis

When I look at my blog publishing schedule, I wept for there were no more topics to be discussed.

No, I am not as great as Alexander. My screw up is do to either a lack of planning or exhaustion. To conquer the known world by 23, you cannot afford to have such lapses. Imagine where my life would be without my slips.

I decided to take the plunge and signed up with Podbean. "NinetyForChill.com - The Podcast" is now on Spotify, so things are looking up for that project. Too bad that took up my Tuesday night as I was doing all the busy work to get it associated with all my social media. Monday was a long night because I had to produce my copy and paste David Cronenberg tribute, "Do You Want To Scan a Skimble?".

Having guests on the podcast makes it so much easier. Four or five edits at the most. If you want to do me a favor, come be on my podcast. It is free promotion for you and an easier production for me. Send an email to russthebus07@gmail.com with a topic/theme, director, or actor. Just be sure to focus on their sub 100-minute movie offerings.

The russthebus07@gmail.com email address is also where you can inquire about my Z-Movie script "Main Event of the Dead", a horror comedy about indie pro-wrestling having to take on 80's throwback gimmick zombies. Feel free to ask for a script treatment or offer advice on how to get the 10-year old project out of development hell. Help for either option will be greatly appreciated.

I wonder how often Alexander asked for assistance. Being King of Macedon probably means he did not have to ask for anything. It makes me wonder if he deserves all that credit since he did not have to build his fortune up first. Turns out Adrian Veidt has no one that he can relate to.

With my sense of alienation, perhaps I am on the right path. Maybe my calling is killing three million people in the name of humanity. Nah. No one deserves to die, and if you leave three million people limping the rest of their lives, you have to face off against 1.5 million enemies.

Aside from creating dilemmas for himself, Ozymandias did not have any genuine problems. Now I love unnecessary drama in my life (Love might not be the right verve. It maybe yearn.), but being broke means there are real problems in my life. They have been occupying my mind and probably leading to further exhaustion.

The smallest thing really is dealing with my Mom's politics. This blog is not a movie review because I visited my parents and ended up watching "AEW Dynamite" with my dad. With the exhaustion comes a need to skip some midnight movies.

I think Oli Davis is probably right about Tony Khan's product. Every episode makes you remember why you love wrestling. Our shared love for scripted violence (and "Putney Swope") makes swallowing her Tucker Carlson talking points easier.

She was/is bitching about government spending and how her grandchildren will have to pay for the stimulus. Of course, Mom did not complain about the Republican bill from March 2020 and cheered Donald Trump trying to add $1400 on the second package (without her understanding how that bill worked). Now she says I was undeserving like her other children because we all worked through the pandemic.

Because Christmas had finally been closed with the securing of my PS5, hiding my middle finger was a challenge. Way to show your appreciation for your essential workers. One spread COVID to all members of your household, one is constantly quarantining due to exposure via children. Sorry her sons only have cats as constant company.

As I said, that was the simplest of my problems. The Poetic Critic first suggestion for this week's podcast was 80's musicals was more tasking, but quickly resolved. It was a challenge to inform her that I do not want to watch "The Apple" and "Xanadu", or how I never dug the majority of "Little Shop or Horrors" (It is only strong when Audrey Two and Steve Martin command your attention.). With runtimes outside of these five (including Disney's animated musicals) being over 100-minutes, she quickly just went to 80's animated features.

The only problem with this is I have to lower the cellar to accept my favorite Disney movies of the decade for the pod (Both "The Great Mouse Detective" and "Oliver & Company" are 74 minutes.). I am definitely going to forgive the best animated cat movie brevity. The bigger problem exposed by this is that I think I really need to figure out how to promote the upcoming episodes of the podcast. Without a list of guests waiting to chat, what will ensure they stick around for the next show?

That is honestly a good problem to have. At least it is not putting my health at risk or driving me crazy in regards to the inconsiderate. Mom's bitching ends when she airs out her egregious grievances. Do not respond and their is no battle. A physician assistant that demands that I see her to get my meds is an unavoidable battle.

I ran out of refills on the cholesterol and blood pressure medications that I have been taking for the better part of nine years. My labs show these meds must be working because the primary care provider (PCP), a physician assistant, focused on working on my diabetes through medication. Still, despite these not being a problem, she expects me to make the time to do an office or video visit. This shows a total lack of consideration.

This lack of consideration comes from the fact that you want me to make the time to address something that you now deem worth addressing. Why was it not a concern before this. To make matters worst, she does not know how to address an issue. I decided that I was going to find a new PCP after our December appointment failed to occur. COVID-19 was the reason, but to hear her say that she can determine my physical health via a Zoom call with no readings to be taken or labs to look at, it seemed I was suppose to take her going through the motions as consideration for my health.

I said sure to the video call, but then decided to cancel the appointment because I did not see it worth the copay since no care was being provided. OSF's response was to schedule the video appointment anyhow and notified me of this the day of. Needless to say I cancelled that with the same explanation I gave for the previous. Shortly after this, I had one of my diabetes medication run out and in need of refill.

I submitted my refill to Walgreens and received a message that I needed to see me PCP to get authorization. This did not happen because I saw that I had the same prescription available from my previous PCP. The change she made was I take one-1000 mg pill instead of two-500 mg pills in the morning and the evening. How can I trust her with my health if she goes through the motions and cannot perform math?

Which I finally addressed on Monday when the nurse for her office notified me that I needed to communicate with my PCP to get the refills she was never expressed concern about. My response was that I might have the time, but I do not have the trust, so get her to reauthorize my prescriptions so that I can move on to finding a new PCP. Their reply was that she still needed to see me to reauthorize despite they removed her from my profile.

This led me to tell them that I cannot deal with her because of my negative stance towards her. We need to get these prescriptions authorized so I could move on. If we could not, then I need my dissatisfaction escalated. They said they would escalate, but my meds still need to be authorized by my former PCP. Also, they said I should have heard from management yesterday. I have yet to here from anyone, and it is after 5 pm.

Needless to say, I have printed out all of the messages. It shows I am wiser than C.M. Punk. How can you not create your paper trail before you run your mouth. This at least makes me feel better about my possible ticking time bomb when it comes to my health.

What if I did not have the time to come in until May at the earliest? I am supposed to go without medication for a month. Where is the care and not cause harm attitude there?

Thanks for dealing with the head trip. I will make it up to you with the podcast.
